Locum Tenens Pediatric Pulmonologist — Inpatient/Outpatient (Philadelphia, PA)

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist for locum tenens coverage in Philadelphia, PA. This position supports both inpatient and outpatient services beginning March 16, 2026 and ongoing, providing supplemental clinical care plus call coverage.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology care, including bronchoscopy and occasional ICU consults (not exclusively ICU)
• Participate in weekday clinical shifts and respond to night and 24-hour weekend call via beeper (15-minute response expectation)
• Manage approximately four phone consults per shift and perform rounding
• Supervise advanced practice providers as required
• Document in Cerner

Schedule and support:

• Weekday clinical shifts with nights and 24-hour weekend call
• Coverage includes inpatient, bronchoscopy, outpatient clinics, and call
• Support team: 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 APP, and 1 office staff
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges may be available
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania medical license
• BC/BE in Pediatric Pulmonology; completed fellowship
• DEA registration
• ACLS and PALS certification
