Requirements:
- Must hold active RN license in practicing state.
- 1-2 years Telemetry or Step-Down experience preferred.
- Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia ID.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills.
- Experience with EMR and telemetry equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Monitoring:
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and vital checks.
- Interventions:
- Administer medications, IV drips, and treatments.
- Document all assessments and interventions in EMR.
- Communication & Safety:
- Promptly communicate all patient changes to providers.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge.
