Minimum qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid South Carolina Department of Education professional certificate in School Psychology
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility and inform interventions
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and community providers to coordinate interventions and supports
- Deliver professional development to school staff on classroom-based interventions, progress monitoring, and behavior supports
- Complete required documentation and comply with district policies, timelines, and confidentiality requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Working conditions:
- On-site in schools across the district
- Must adhere to district policies and state regulations for special education and student confidentiality
