Job Description

Adelphi is seeking dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologists to provide exceptional school-based services to students for a school district located in Johnston County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will support students through evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with educational staff to meet Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.

Requirements:

  • Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license

  • School-based experience preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver'slicense

  • Must be eligible and verifiable through the NC licensing database

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff

  • Familiarity with IEP development and IDEA compliance

  • Must maintain licensure through the NC Board of Examiners and provide proof of eligibility if requested



Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services aligned with student evaluations and IEP goals

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and prepare written evaluation reports

  • Develop and contribute to IEPs, including progress updates and performance goals

  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed

  • Deliver direct and consultative services per IEP requirements

  • Complete all documentation and Medicaid billing in accordance with district and state guidelines

  • Offer consultation and training to school staff

  • Attend required meetings and professional development sessions

  • Ensure active licensure and credential compliance

  • Adhere to state and DPI guidelines for school-based speech-language services
