Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 13-Week Contract in Ideal, GA

Join a multidisciplinary team in Ideal, GA as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment beginning ASAP. This full-time role follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule. Compensation: Travel: $2,182/36-hours; Local: $2,149/36-hours.

Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, determining type and severity.
• Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans and revise them based on progress.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and dysphagia.
• Recommend and instruct on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, exercises, and compensatory techniques to support communication and safe swallowing.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to support coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Facilitate generalization of skills to daily activities, school, or work environments.
• Maintain professional development to stay current in best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
