Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Willows, CA (13-week Travel Assignment)

Join a 13-week contract in Willows, CA (start ASAP) providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services. Full schedule: Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $2,383/36 hours; Local: $2,347/36 hours.

Required:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Core responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders; interpret clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine diagnosis and severity.
• Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and dysphagia.
• Provide AAC recommendations and training as indicated.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, home programs, and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor progress, update treatment plans, and maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support functional carryover in daily life, school, or work.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
