Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing impairments using clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; train patients in safe swallowing techniques.
• Recommend and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and carryover activities.
• Monitor, document, and revise patient progress and treatment plans regularly.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Facilitate patient carryover of communication skills in daily, school, or work settings.
• Participate in professional development to maintain current practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
