Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Pittsfield, MA (13-week Travel)

Join a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, MA as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist starting ASAP. This full-time assignment follows an 08:00–16:30 daily schedule (Sun–Sat) with travel pay of $2,648/40 hrs or local pay of $2,608/40 hrs.

Requirements:

• Current, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders and determine severity.
• Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and swallowing function.
• Evaluate and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies, home programs, and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans according to patient progress; maintain accurate, current records including assessments and progress notes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, educators) to coordinate holistic care.
• Facilitate carryover of communication and swallowing skills to daily activities, school, and work.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
