Join a Troy, NY health system as a locum tenens General/Adult Psychiatrist providing inpatient and outpatient care to adults. This supplemental clinical role begins ASAP and extends on an ongoing basis. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a 1:4 call ratio (call details TBD). Expect an average daily outpatient volume of 15 patients; inpatient service supports a 63-bed facility. Team composition: 3 inpatient and 5 outpatient psychiatrists, supported by one APP. Electronic charting is via Epic.
Additional operational notes: all staff participate in codes; psychiatrists may occasionally assess children only in the crisis unit during weekend call, and those requiring admission are transferred to an adolescent facility. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Required qualifications: active New York medical license, board certification, ACLS, NPDB report, and a clean record.
