Join us in Federal Way, WA for a 17-week contract opportunity (start ASAP) working Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. This role is open to both travel and local candidates. Compensation: Travel $2,424/40-hrs; Local $2,388/40-hrs.

What we’re looking for

• A current, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing to identify strengths and challenges.
• Use clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine the type and severity of communication disorders.
• Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, and expressive skills.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing strategies and compensatory techniques.
• Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when appropriate.
• Teach patients and families practical strategies and home exercises to reinforce progress.
• Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—physicians, other therapists, educators—to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Help patients generalize communication gains to daily life, school, or work settings.
• Stay current through professional development and continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
