Join a busy Urology service in Marshfield, WI, providing inpatient and outpatient coverage on a locum tenens basis. This role supplements an established team of four APPs and offers a mix of clinical duties and beeper call.
Key details
- Specialty: Urology NP/PA (Locum Tenens)
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient; Trauma Level II
- Coverage: ASAP — ongoing; clinical work plus call (beeper)
- Schedule: Typical shift 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., 2–3 weeks per month
- Call: 1:3 or 1:4 ratio, 15-minute response expectation, schedule TBD
- Patient volume: ~10–16 patients/day; rounding required
- Procedures: Cystoscopy
- Support: 1 RN, 3 MAs, 7 office staff
- EMR: Cerner
- Privileges: Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
- Exclusions: No pediatric patients except emergency treatment while on call
- Compensation package: Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin license or willingness to obtain
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Recent operating room experience required
