Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
• Licensed Psychologist by the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board.
• Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria, evidence-based treatments, and correctional mental health practices.
• Strong clinical communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform psychological assessments, standardized testing, and risk evaluations.
• Provide individual and group mental health treatment, monitoring, and crisis intervention.
• Make placement decisions and manage use or removal of observation/restraint status per policy.
• Produce and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and reports.
• Coordinate care with Department of Corrections staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Working Conditions

• On-site work in a correctional setting; must follow facility security and operational procedures.
