Locums Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage in Caro, Michigan due to a current recruitment gap. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with a collaborative clinical environment and limited call responsibilities.

 

Position Details

 

• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Coverage Type: Outpatient care with clinic call
• Days Required: Monday–Thursday
• Clinic Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• After-Hours Call: Yes, based on a rotating schedule
• Weekend Requirements: None
• Average Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day

 

Responsibilities

 

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Perform preventive care, wellness visits, and routine health screenings
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the medical record
• Participate in after-hours call rotation as scheduled
• Collaborate with clinical staff and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care

 

Requirements

 

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Michigan medical license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must be local to the area
