Physician Assistant – Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (Nocturnist) opening in Loveland, CO (Permanent)
Position Overview
Full-time nocturnist role on a high-acuity Trauma & Acute Care Surgery service
Inpatient-only coverage with overnight shifts
Not open to locums or locums-to-perm
No visa sponsorship (no J-1 or H-1B)
System-wide name clearance required
Not accepting new graduates
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide full-spectrum trauma and acute care surgical coverage overnight
Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery, and inpatient care
Perform evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic studies
Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support
Practice autonomously with appropriate escalation
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary trauma team
Maintain documentation and workflows in Epic
Support quality, safety, and performance initiatives
Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities
Schedule
Full-time nocturnist

Compensation
Salary range: $136,822 – $179,379 (based on experience)
Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP): up to $10,000 annually
Relocation assistance up to $10,000 (eligible candidates)
