**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: February 2026 (second or third week of February needed)
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7 days per month
- Coverage Type: Call only
- Practice Setting: Critical access hospital with labor and delivery and pediatrics unit
- Reason for Coverage: Prior locum not a good fit

**Clinical Details**
- Patient Volume: Approximately 2–3 admissions per day
- Nursery Level: Level II nursery
- Gestational Age: Avoid deliveries under 36 weeks when possible
- Duties: Attend vaginal deliveries and C-sections as requested, admit and discharge newborns, manage pediatric inpatients, perform circumcisions
- Required Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation, intubations, UVC placement, lumbar punctures
- EMR: Meditech
- Support Staff: Experienced nursing team, Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, OB/GYNs, respiratory therapists
- Consult Support: Local pediatricians available; NICU transfer support located in Bismarck, ND

**Requirements**
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics highly preferred
- North Dakota license or IMLC required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
- Clean malpractice history required
- Availability must be listed at time of name clear
- Self-query NPDB report required and must be dated within 30 days of presentation
