Practice setting: Hospital-based operating rooms
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
7:00am–3:30pm
Call required: No
Average surgical volume: 50–60 cases per day (department-wide)
Pain management cases: None
Supervision:
Mix of solo cases and supervision of CRNAs
Care team model
Anesthesia cart preparation required: No
Patient population: Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and adult
Trauma designation: ACS Level I
EMR: Not specified
ORs: 14
Anesthesia team size: 22 anesthesiologists
Annual ED volume: ~70,000
OR environment: Collegial team including RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, APPs, and proceduralists
