Locums General Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Locums Board-Certified General Surgeon to join our growing team in Lavonia, Georgia, helping to develop and expand an Acute Care Surgery and Elective Practice. This opportunity offers a focused surgical role without trauma coverage, allowing for a more predictable schedule and excellent work–life balance.

Position Overview 

• Practice Type: Acute Care Surgery and Elective General Surgery
• Trauma: None
• Schedule: Flexible scheduling with 183 shifts per year 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform a full range of general surgery procedures, including endoscopy and EGD
• Participate in the development and growth of the Acute Care Surgery and Elective Practice
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, physicians, and support staff
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care 

Requirements 

• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Active Georgia medical license
• Demonstrated experience with endoscopy and EGD procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
