Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Newborn Nursery - Full-Time Position!

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our Austin-Seton group. This role offers a blend of responsibilities, primarily based at Seton Main, with flexible support across Level II nurseries. The PNPs collaborate with a team of physicians and NNPs to provide high-quality newborn care.  

Responsibilities:

• Round in a busy newborn nursery alongside pediatricians, caring exclusively for newborn patients.
• Provide education and support to parents on essential newborn care.
• Rotate through different sites based on patient volume and team needs.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with some weekend coverage.
• Participate in a robust orientation process to ensure comfort and proficiency in the role.
