IDEAL Pediatric Hospitalist-Newborn Nursery OPPORTUNITY!
Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina

Responsibilities
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Pediatrician, to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open beginning of 2025

 

About the Practice 

• This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
• An average daily census of about 5 newborns
• Pediatric Hospitalist  will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home
• Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care

°The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitlaist with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia, which is only 7 miles away
