IDEAL Pediatric Hospitalist-Newborn Nursery OPPORTUNITY!
Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North Carolina
Responsibilities
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Pediatrician, to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open beginning of 2025 About the Practice
- This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
- An average daily census of about 5 newborns
- Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home
- Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care
- Belmont Medical Center, is located just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte and 8 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, which has non-stop flights to over 180 destinationsCaroMont Health has been recognized with numerous awards, including being named one of Thomson Reuters’ Top 100 Hospital
