**Nephrology Opening in Knoxville, TN**
Seeking to add a fourth physician to add to a thriving and busy nephrology practice. The group provides all aspects of renal care including inpatient and outpatient, AKI/CKD care, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, CRRT, and pre and post follow-up kidney transplant patients.
* Call 1 out of 5 and every 5th weekend; Friday includes weekend call
* Competitive compensation package
* Cover one hospital, possibly two in the future
* Group goes to 6 dialysis clinics throughout the area
* Hospitalist on call in-house to assist 24/7 with admissions
* Board Certified or Board eligible
* Monthly travel allowance
* Medical insurance and retirement benefit
* Pathway to partnership and medical directorship
**Medical Center**
468-bed medical center with an array of medical services, including neurology, orthopedics, oncology, cardiology, obstetrics and rehabilitation medicine. It is certified by The Joint Commission and CARF as a Comprehensive Stroke and Rehabilitation Center and holds several accreditations in cardiology, hip, knee and spine surgeries and bariatrics. It is a Pulmonary Hypertension Center of Excellence and has been awarded for its maternity care.
* 468 licensed beds
* 51 emergency room beds and a radiology suite within the department
* 72 critical care beds (including Cardiovascular ICU, Medical-Surgical ICU and Neuro-ICU, most with tele-ICU capability)
* 17 surgery suites
* 5 cath labs, part of our award-winning Heart Center
* Triage rooms, antepartum suites, labor and delivery suites and mother/baby rooms to help moms welcome the newest members of their families
* Home to premier rehabilitation hospital and outpatient center
