Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician for an outstanding opportunity in Vidalia, Georgia, joining a collaborative, forward-thinking team within one of the region’s leading hospitals. Responsibilities

• Provide timely evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for emergency department patients
• Manage a full scope of emergency medicine cases, including medical and traumatic emergencies
• Perform and/or oversee emergency procedures based on patient needs
• Collaborate with nursing staff, consultants, and inpatient teams for admissions and transfers
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety initiatives

 

Qualified Candidates

 

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license (free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions)
• Current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
