Location: Missouri, tele role

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an adult Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient hospital team in Missouri in a remote capacity.
This full-time, tele psychiatrist role supports individuals experiencing acute psychiatric conditions, contributing to both stabilization and long-term treatment planning for patients aged 18+.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and manage ongoing treatment for inpatient populations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • NO weekend or call requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Missouri or the ability to obtain one.
  • Active DEA registration in Missouri or eligibility to obtain.
  • Previous experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred.
  • Comfort with or willingness to use telehealth platforms.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
