Locums Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locums Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join a well-established pediatric team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered outpatient pediatric care to children from infancy through adolescence in a collaborative clinical environment.

Position Details

• Schedule Options: PRN, Part-Time, Full-Time
• Shift Flexibility: Half Days or Full Days
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine well-child exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses
• Educate patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and health maintenance
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Arizona state laws

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Arizona Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain)
• National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNCB or ANCC)
• Active DEA license with Arizona prescriptive authority
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Ability to practice autonomously in an outpatient pediatric setting
