Locums Pediatric Physician

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Locums Pediatric Physician to join a well-established and collaborative healthcare team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This flexible locums opportunity allows providers to work PRN, part-time, full-time, with options for half-day or full-day schedules, making it ideal for physicians seeking schedule flexibility while delivering high-quality pediatric care.

This position focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric care to children from birth through adolescence, with an emphasis on preventive health, developmental screenings, and the management of acute and chronic conditions.

Schedule Options:

• PRN, Part-Time, Full-Time
• Shift Flexibility: Half Days or Full Days

Responsibilities

• Provide routine wellness exams, immunizations, and developmental screenings
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, infections, and injuries
• Manage chronic pediatric conditions and coordinate care with specialists as needed
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and healthy lifestyles
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Current DEA registration
• BLS and PALS certifications required
