**Locums | Diagnostic Radiology | Hospital-Based | Hartford, CT**
**Why This Role**

- 24/7 reader coverage with flexible shift options
- Hybrid onsite and remote work environment
**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: March 21, 2026
- Duration: 3–6 months with potential extension
- Schedule: 24/7 reader coverage with morning, afternoon, night, and overnight shifts
- Coverage Model: Two diagnostic readers per shift, no formal call
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based with some remote work preferred
- Reason for Coverage: Group model transitioning to employed structure
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
**Clinical Details**
- Scope: Diagnostic radiology with ability to read CT, MRI, ultrasound, and general studies
- Average Volume: TBD; very busy department
- EMR / Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS
- Trauma Level: Level I
- Support Staff: Full complement
- Patient Population: Neonates, adolescents, adults, geriatrics; minimal pediatric volume
**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)
- Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- BLS required; ACLS optional depending on subspecialty
- Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and modern radiology IT platforms
- Experience in high-volume integrated health systems
- Comfort with hybrid onsite and remote workflows
- Self-Query NPDB required at time of presentation
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
