**Locums | Radiology – Mammography | No Call | Hartford, CT**
**Why This Role**
- High-volume breast imaging service with dedicated mammography focus
- Daytime weekday schedule with no call or weekends
- Opportunity to support a transitioning group model with potential extension
**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: March 21, 2026
- Duration: 3–6 months with option to extend
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30a–5:00p
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based with some remote reading
- Reason for Coverage: Group model transitioning to employed structure
- Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days
**Clinical Details**
- Focus: Mammography and Breast Imaging
- Scope: Read, diagnose, and perform breast biopsies
- Average Volume: TBD; high-volume department
- EMR / Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS
- Trauma Level: Level I
- Support Staff: Full complement
- Patient Population: Primarily adult and geriatric; minimal pediatric exposure
**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)
- Breast Imaging fellowship preferred
- Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- BLS required (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)
- Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and breast imaging procedures including biopsies
- Self-Query NPDB required (pulled within 30 days of presentation)
- Strong experience in high-volume radiology environments
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
