Job Description

We are seeking a Neurosurgery Physician to provide comprehensive neurosurgical care in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
 
Compensation: $4,900 per 24-hour shift
 
The neurosurgeon will evaluate and manage emergent and inpatient neurosurgical cases, working closely with hospital leadership, emergency medicine, trauma services, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient outcomes.
 
Schedule & Coverage
 
  • Coverage Requirement: 183 twenty-four (24) hour shifts per year
  • Shift Structure: Continuous 24-hour call
  • Administrative Duties: None
  • Partial Year Coverage: Shift requirements are prorated for partial calendar years
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Provide neurosurgical consultation and call coverage for emergency and inpatient cases
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute neurosurgical conditions
  • Perform neurosurgical procedures as clinically indicated
  • Collaborate with ED, trauma, ICU, and inpatient teams
  • Ensure clear, timely documentation and communication across care teams
 
Requirements
 
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in North Dakota
