Overview

Our San Antonio pediatric hospitalist group is searching for a dedicated pediatric hospitalist to join our busy practice providing coverage at Methodist Children’s Hospital.

Responsibilities
Our San Antonio pediatric hospitalist group is searching for a dedicated pediatric hospitalist to join our busy practice providing coverage at Methodist Children’s Hospital.

• Average of 10-15 pediatric patients daily on hospital medicine shifts 
• Work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage, delivery attendance not required
• Mixture of day and night shifts
• Night coverage is in-house from 6PM to midnight, with home call from midnight to 6 AM
• Typically work shift blocks of 3-5 days, though this can be flexible if longer stretches are preferred
• Care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit 
• Hospital has PICU and NICU on site
