Minnesota healthcare system is seeking a daytime hospitalist for a 7 on/7 off schedule; 175 shifts is considered full time. Hospitalists cover two hospitals located on the same campus and connected via an indoor skywalk system.
350 bed tertiary care hospital with an attached 140 bed multispecialty hospital.
Open ICU (no vent management).
Target staffing model of 16-18 patients per day (to include rounding volumes plus any admissions or consults).
Volumes for shared APP/physicians teams are ttargeted at 24-28.
Satisfying balance of attending and consultative responsibilities covering multiple specialties.
Procedures not required.
Opportunities to participate in hospital-based research, quality, and clinical initiatives.
Inpatient teaching service for the Duluth Family Medicine residents.
EPIC EMR.
Compensation range: $348,103-$383,262; hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
