**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: Call only, beeper call
- Schedule: 6am–6am, 24-hour call (not required to be in house)
- Start date: March 12, 2026
- End date: Ongoing
- Dates needed: March 12 6am–March 19 6am; April 4 6am–April 6 6am; April 22 6am–April 26 6am
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Admissions required: No
- Allowed holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
- EMR: Epic

**Clinical Details**
- Pediatric hospitalist coverage with neonatal focus
- Neonatal airway management including intubation required
- Management of neonatal air leak and pneumothorax including needle decompression required
- Emergent UVC placement in the delivery room required
- UVC and UAC placement required
- Lumbar puncture required
- EKG interpretation required
- Ventilator management preferred
- Chest tube insertion for neonates preferred
- Central lines outside the newborn period are not performed
- Most pediatric chest tubes and intubations occur in the ED with ED and anesthesia support

**Requirements**
- Active California medical license required
- Board certified or truly board eligible within 3–5 years of residency
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- NRP required
- Physician providers only

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
