**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
- Schedule: In-house clinical coverage with beeper call
- In-house expectation: 8am–8pm with 12 hours of on-call coverage
- Availability needed: 1–2 weeks per month
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Patients per shift: 15–20 plus procedures
- Admissions required: No
- EMR: Epic

**Clinical Details**
- Hospital-based interventional gastroenterology coverage
- Advanced endoscopy including therapeutic ERCP and EUS
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, hemostasis, and variceal injection
- PEG placement, liver biopsy, and management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tubes
- Average of 15–20 patients per day plus approximately 5 procedures
- Phone consults during call average 0–10
- Average overnight callbacks 1–3 times per week

**Requirements**
- Active Oklahoma license or IMLC eligibility
- Board certified or board eligible
- Completion of GI fellowship with additional advanced endoscopy training
- Demonstrated current competence with at least 200 therapeutic ERCPs, 40 sphincterotomies, and 10 stent placements in the past 12 months or completion of training within the past 12 months
- ACLS required
- Supervision of advanced practice providers required
- Submission of case logs from a GI procedure documentation system for the past 12 months
