We are seeking an inpatient general adult Psychiatrist to join our adult inpatient behavioral health team. Hospital offers a comprehensive behavioral health program with 63 inpatient beds across three specialized units—Mental Health, MICA (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), and Gero-Psychiatry. Our interdisciplinary team delivers compassionate, patient-centered care addressing the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of adults in our community.

**Highlights**

* Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients on a 30-bed adult mental health unit-shared between 2 psychiatrists
* Work closely with Hospitalists, specialists, and community-based providers
* Join a collaborative team environment including counselors, therapists, case managers, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners
* Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends
* Stable unit structure with predictable patient volumes and workflows
* Supportive leadership and well-coordinated care across the behavioral health continuum

**Requirements**

* Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
* DEA licensure and NY State license (or eligibility) required
* Experience in an inpatient setting preferred
* Excellent clinical and communication skills
* Strong commitment to team-oriented, patient-focused care
* New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

**Comprehensive Compensation Package:**

* Competitive base salary including starting bonus;
* Compensation is between $310,000 and $350,000
* The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
