Charge Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Evening Shift, Bangor, ME (Contract)

Join a contract/ travel team in Bangor, ME as a Licensed Practical Nurse providing evening coverage (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). This position is available ASAP and pays $1,860 per 40-hour week. You will support long-term care and skilled rehabilitation residents in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active CMT, CNA/M, or LPN/LVN certification/license
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong medication-safety awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications via approved routes under RN supervision and document accurately on the MAR
• Maintain secure, organized medication carts and storage; monitor supplies and coordinate reorders
• Obtain approval before administering PRN medications and perform non-narcotic counts at shift change
• Obtain and record vital signs (including apical pulse); observe and report changes in resident condition
• Assist with resident care and perform CNA duties as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with nursing staff, providers, residents, and families
• Maintain efficiency and composure in a busy setting with frequent interruptions
