Join a busy inpatient radiology team in Hazard, Kentucky, providing general diagnostic imaging coverage on a supplemental, ongoing locum tenens basis. You’ll work weekdays (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) interpreting roughly 7–10 cases per day and performing selected procedures such as fluoroscopy, arthrograms, and lumbar punctures. The facility is a 350-bed, Level III trauma center with Meditech EMR and one RN supporting the service.
What you’ll cover
- Clinical-only inpatient radiology coverage
- Supplemental support to the permanent team
- ASAP start, ongoing coverage
Typical day and environment
- Monday–Friday, daytime shift (8a–5p)
- Moderate patient volume (7–10 cases/day)
- Procedural work includes fluoroscopy, arthrograms, lumbar punctures
- One RN on site for assistance
Requirements
- Active Kentucky medical license or participation in IMLC
- BC/BE in Diagnostic Radiology
- ACLS and BLS certifications
