Overview:
Seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee clinical operations and drive high-quality, patient-centered care during a 5-week contract. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on clinical oversight to support staff and optimize departmental performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• BSN or higher
• Prior nursing leadership experience, preferably as a Director of Nursing
• Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a collaborative, professional work environment
• Coordinate and oversee patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards
• Recruit, orient, and supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Maintain regulatory compliance, infection control standards, and patient-safety practices
• Develop and deliver staff education and training to support skill development and best practices
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation while preserving care quality
• Enforce hospital policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote patient-centered care initiatives
• Partner with quality improvement teams to identify trends and implement care enhancements
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and departmental activities
• Contribute to strategic planning and projects to advance nursing services
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management
