Travel RN — Emergency Room (Nights) | Calais, ME | Contract (36-hr)

Join a contract/travel team in Calais, ME, providing emergency nursing care on night shifts. Start ASAP. Compensation: $2,052 per 36-hour shift.

Key qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Emergency department experience or strong acute-care background preferred.
• Proven clinical judgment, critical-thinking ability, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC preferred.

Core responsibilities:

• Triage and rapidly assess incoming patients, prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to protocols.
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly report changes to physicians and the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient records.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
• Contribute to ER safety and quality-improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
