Night RN – Emergency/Acute Care in Wrangell, AK | Full-Time, Fast-Paced, Immediate Start

Join a close-knit team in Wrangell, AK as a full-time night RN working in emergency and acute care—start ASAP. You’ll be caring for patients with urgent and emergent needs in a fast-paced but supportive environment.

What we’re looking for

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS are a plus.
• Prefer 1–2 years of experience in acute care, emergency, or critical care nursing.
• Strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and solid critical thinking.
• Comfort working under pressure and adapting quickly in a busy setting.
• Clear communicator who works well on a team and with patients’ families.

What you’ll do

• Triage and assess patients arriving with acute or emergent conditions and monitor them continuously.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments safely and effectively.
• Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and carry out appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the rest of the care team.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the medical record.
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
