Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) — Night Shift, Cardiac/Telemetry — Hilo, HI (Contract)

Shift: Nights, 6:45 p.m. – 5:15 a.m. (36-hour assignment)
Rate: $1,930 / 36 hours

Required licensure/certification:

• Active RN license (Hawaii)
• BLS (CPR)
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Required experience/skills:

• Extensive cardiac nursing experience
• Experience in Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke/Neuro, and Step-Down/ICU settings
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Core responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders, facility policy, and state regulations
• Monitor patient status, recognize and escalate clinical changes appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Create and update individualized care plans and provide patient/family education
• Accurately document care and maintain compliance with documentation standards
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes; participate in performance improvement activities
