Seeking a Hematology/Oncology locum tenens physician to provide supplemental clinical and call coverage in Everett, WA. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient services starting April 15, 2026 and continuing ongoing.

Schedule and Coverage

• Clinical: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call: Beeper-based; 20-minute response time
• Call frequency: -1 in 6 weeks; biweekly pattern includes every-other-night beeper call plus a 24-hour weekend hospital call with rounding on Saturday and Sunday (weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend call for established clinic patients; phone availability only as specified)
• Coverage Type: Clinical duties plus call responsibilities and hospital privileges required

Clinical Practice

• Patient population: Adults
• Volume: Average 14 patients/day (10 scheduled visits, 4 consults) and 1–2 inpatients
• Practice mix: ~85% outpatient/clinic, 15% hospital; approximately 75% oncology, 25% hematology
• Duties: Outpatient and inpatient care, supervision of APPs, participation in tumor boards
• Support: 1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 APCs, 3 office staff
• Facility: 6 department beds, 6 exam rooms, Level II trauma center
• Onsite lab and imaging; EMR: Epic/Beacon

Requirements

• Active Washington medical license or IMLC participation
• Board certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Willingness to provide required call coverage
