RN House Supervisor — Med-Surg & ER (Contract Travel)

Join a busy community hospital in Hamburg, IA as a contract Registered Nurse House Supervisor supporting Med-Surg and ER teams. This daytime, 36-hour contract role starts ASAP and pays $2,182 per 36-hour week.

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Clinical experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Emergency Department settings
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Strong leadership, critical decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide house-wide clinical oversight and operational support across Med-Surg and ER
• Coordinate patient flow, staffing assignments, and bed management
• Offer clinical guidance and escalation support to frontline teams
• Lead responses to emergencies, codes, and critical incidents
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Address patient, staff, and physician concerns in real time
• Act as the administrative representative during off-shifts

This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is confident directing clinical operations and supporting multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic setting.
