Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology Physician — Inpatient/Outpatient, ASAP-Ongoing, Travel/Lodging Covered

Join a Hematology & Oncology team in Oklahoma City, OK, covering both inpatient and outpatient services on a locum tenens basis. This role is intended as supplemental coverage starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing schedule. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with beeper call responsibilities (15-minute response time). Night call is required 2–3 nights per week, and weekend call about once every 10 weeks.

Typical patient load is about 15 per day, supported by one RN and one MA. Clinical duties include patient exams, chemotherapy/treatment administration, supportive care and symptom management, new patient consults for hematology and oncology referrals, hospital rounds, coordination with other care teams, and maintaining thorough medical records. You’ll also be involved with genetic testing, early detection efforts, and genetic counseling when appropriate. The facility uses Epic and is a Level II trauma center. Hospital privileges are required.

Requirements:

• Active Oklahoma medical license or participation in IMLC
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
• Case logs
