We’re looking for an Interventional Cardiologist to provide supplemental coverage in West Burlington, IA, on a locum tenens basis. You’ll care for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, seeing about 15–18 patients per day. The role is clinical with call responsibilities (nights and weekends), and the primary schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Coverage begins ASAP and is ongoing.
The practice includes interventional cardiology colleagues, and the current EMR is Cerner with a planned transition to Epic in June 2026. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be provided.
Required credentials:
- Active Iowa medical license
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- BLS and ACLS
- Self-query NPDB
