Join a busy acute-care team in Mooresville, NC, to provide Interventional Radiology coverage (locum tenens) starting April 6, 2026, with ongoing coverage. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., covering inpatient and outpatient services, with optional on-call coverage if desired.

What you’ll do

• Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures and provide diagnostic interpretations across modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, bone density).
• Read general diagnostic imaging studies as needed and collaborate closely with referring physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Document care and review images using Epic EMR and GE PACS.

The setting

• 123-bed acute care hospital with multispecialty backup including cardiology, orthopedics, emergency medicine, and surgery.
• Dedicated radiology technologists and clinical support staff.
• High study volume across all modalities (approx. 170–215 studies per 24 hours).

Logistics, privileges & compliance

• Temporary/emergency privileges may be possible; full hospital privileges required. Credentialing typically takes ~90 days.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Who we’re looking for

• BC/BE in Interventional Radiology.
• Active North Carolina medical license or participation in IMLC.
• DEA registration and current life-support certifications.
• Experience in interventional radiology with capability to read general diagnostic studies.

• Coverage begins April 6, 2026, ongoing; primary coverage needed Monday–Friday.
