Travel LPN/LVN — Long Term Care (13-week Contract) — Pembroke, NC

We’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a contract team in Pembroke, NC. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting ASAP, with a schedule of 07:00 AM–03:30 PM. Compensation for this 36-hour week is $1,321.

What you’ll need

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license
• Current BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. That includes administering medications and IV fluids, performing wound care, monitoring and documenting vital signs, and conducting basic patient assessments. You’ll help create and follow individualized care plans, collect lab specimens (blood, urine, sputum), assist with catheter care, and support patient comfort and mobility.

Communication and teamwork are key: you’ll collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care, educate patients and families about conditions and self-care, and advocate for patient needs. You may also supervise CNAs or other assistive personnel when required.

Safety and compliance are priorities—expect to follow infection control protocols, handle and dispose of medications and supplies properly, respond to emergencies using established procedures, and maintain accurate patient records. You’ll also stay current with nursing practices through ongoing training.

Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.
