Contract RN – Long Term Care (Mount Olive, NC)

Location: Mount Olive, NC | Contract, Non-Travel | Start: ASAP | Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM | Shift Basis: Local 36-hour rate: $1,188

Requirements:

• Active, valid Registered Nurse state license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Overview:
Provide professional nursing care in a clinical setting, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to promote patient safety, effective treatment, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing plans, and document care and progress in the medical record.
• Administer medications and obtain specimens for diagnostic testing according to protocols.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, initiate appropriate nursing interventions, and record responses and education provided.
• Assist with procedures, coordinate care with physicians and other team members, and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment by enforcing facility policies, supervising patient conduct, and addressing safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
