LPN/LVN – Long-Term Care Contract (7-Week, 12-hr Days) in Siler City, NC — $976/36 hrs

Join a contract, non-travel opportunity in Siler City, NC — start ASAP for a 7-week assignment. Schedule: 07:00 AM–07:30 PM. Local rate: $976/36-hours.

Requirements:

• Valid, active LPN state license
• BLS certification

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Perform patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Accurately administer medications and treatments, document doses, and follow facility protocols.
• Evaluate, clean, dress and monitor wounds/incisions for infection or complications.
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) and maintain precise patient records of condition changes and interventions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, self-care, and preventive health measures.
• Support patient comfort, mobility, positioning, and pain management; respond promptly in emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
• Follow strict infection control practices and safe handling, storage, and disposal of medications and supplies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (RNs, physicians, therapists, support staff) to ensure coordinated care.
• When assigned, supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel to maintain care quality.
• Advocate for patient rights and needs and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
