We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a team in Franklin, NH on a 14-week, local contract. This is a night shift role (07:00 PM–07:30 AM), starting ASAP. Pay is $1,202 per 36-hour week.

What you’ll need:

  • Active, valid LPN license for the state
  • Current BLS certification

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician guidance—everything from medication administration and wound care to vital sign monitoring. You’ll perform patient assessments (including histories and basic physical checks), help develop individualized care plans, and accurately document changes in condition, treatments, and medications.

Other core tasks include:

  • Administering prescribed meds and treatments safely and according to protocol
  • Managing wounds and monitoring for signs of infection or complications
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs consistently
  • Starting, administering, and monitoring IVs and fluids when required
  • Caring for urinary catheters (insertion, maintenance, and surveillance for issues)
  • Collecting specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing
  • Assisting with positioning, mobility, comfort, and pain management
  • Responding to emergencies and providing basic life support as needed
  • Following strict infection control practices and proper PPE use
  • Safely handling, storing, and disposing of medications and supplies
  • Educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care
  • Promoting preventive care like vaccinations and screenings
  • Advocating for patients and coordinating with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless care
  • Occasionally supervising CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel, when applicable
  • Keeping skills and knowledge current through ongoing education and training
  • Other duties as assigned by management
