Join a Level III trauma center in Florence, AL to provide locum tenens neurosurgery coverage for adults from May 7–17, 2026. This is inpatient, call-only coverage (24-hour shifts, 7a–7a) on a 1:1 beeper call schedule with a 30-minute response expectation. Typical daily volume: 5–6 patients with ~25% callbacks and approximately five phone consults; rounding is required. You will be supported by one APP and have temporary privileges available. EMR: Meditech. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Clinical duties include skull base and spinal surgery (with and without instrumentation); trauma exposure appropriate to a Level III center.
Requirements: Active Alabama medical license or IMLC eligibility; BC/BE in Neurosurgery.
