JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Georgia nurse practitioner license
- Board: National certification as Nurse Practitioner
- DEA: As required for inpatient and outpatient practice
- Certifications: As required by Northside Hospital credentialing standards
- Experience: Surgical service or inpatient APP experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide inpatient care and rounding for liver and pancreas surgical patients
- Support outpatient clinic visits and follow-up care
- Coordinate care with surgical physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
- Assist with continuity of care during periods of increased volume and staff absence
