Travel RN – Med-Surg/Floater (Nights, Columbia MO)

Join a Columbia, MO team as a Registered Nurse providing focused Medical-Surgical care on nights. This contract/travel assignment starts ASAP and follows a 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. shift schedule. Compensation is $2,437 per 36-hour week.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred where applicable.
• Recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Willingness and ability to float to other units.
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and excellent time-management skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and according to policy.
• Float to other units as operational needs require.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and develop discharge plans.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
